A GIANT Upset!!!
Seriously, the worst way to end an 18-0 season. Truly disappointed, and an insane nail biter. DANG IT!
January Fun
Here is what our January consisted of......
Trip to Virginia:
Children's Museum in Richmond
Buzz and Ned's BBQ
Catching snowflakes
Jambbas Exotic Animal Ranch:
Our "tour guide" Trey (5 year old grandson of owner)
BIG elk
Lots of walking
Many, many animals
Fun swinging bridge
Madison slogging through newly poured cement in her new boots (sadly, no pictures)
SNOW at our house! Imagine that....
Lester's farewell and award from 3/4 ADA HHB
Random family things -- Nacho Lester, Madison and Corben...
And a couple videos too...
Cute laughs
Corben walking on the moon (sorry it's so dark)
The Segway ride

Our Beloved Church President, Gordon B. Hinckley 1910-2008

I received this poem in an email from my sister-in-law Caroline, and had to share it. What an amazing and great man he was in all aspects of his life. I hope you enjoy it.
Prophetic Passing
By Anna M. Molgard
January 27, 2008
I imagine he's running to Marjorie now,
Yes, running, not waving his cane.
I see him embracing his father and mother
While they keep repeating his name.
I see him now meeting his forbears,
Brother Brigham and Joseph are there.
Sweet reunion of prophets, united by service
That only such noble men share.
While Father says, "Good and well done.
So faithful in stalwart endurance, I welcome
My noble, most excellent son."
I then hear the ripples of laughter
As he says the reception's just fine,
But he hopes that he'll get an assignment or two
Since there's no need to waste any time.
I can hear his clear voice in the stillness
At the close of this sweet Sabbath day,
Have faith and move forward there's work to be done.
President Hinckley would want it that way.
